engine-cam belt noisy

        1988 M.Y.
CAUSE:
A.drive belt too tightly tensioned cause whistling noises
B.too low belt tension causes drive belt to slap against drive belt
shield and make clattering noise.
SERVISE:
Check drive belt tension;reset to specifications
For persistent complaints retrofit to plastic drive belt cover as found
in servise department parts...
