Should I install a power antenna?

Speaking of antennas...
I currently have a black rubber plug, on my '92 100, where (I assume) a
power antenna would go. This is a rather ugly blemish on what can be
considered a beautiful car. I'm wondering, is this common on late model
100's, or am I the lucky one? Also, does anyone have any experience
installing a power antenna, is this a job for a novice and will it be
expensive?
