Some time back I posted a notice about an autocross series in the SF Bay
Area of California.  I spoke to the coordinator the other day ... and it 
sounds like things are still in the startup phase, but things really are
interesting to me!  He was interested in getting the Audis out there as
well.  The next event is scheduled to be held at 3Com [nee: Candlestick] 
Park in South San Francisco.  The next event is scheduled for 12 April and 
will start at 8:00 a.m.  Cost is $20 (or $30 for a couple).  I'm thinking 
about going to this event to check things out and get to know the folks up 
there.  If anyone else is interested please feel free to contact me via 
direct e-mail.  If there is enough interest perhaps we can have an Audi-
focused dinner meeting afterwards (i.e. about 5PM) ... feel free to contact 
me if you're interested in this (or have suggestions for a location at 
which to congregate near 3Com) as well.
