Euros pass the test

Well, my Euros passed the non-dazzle test last night.

I was returning from a quattro meeting through Leicestershire, down the old 
road between Melton Mowbray and Oakham.  I breezed round a corner, and came up 
behind a traffic patrol (fully loaded) driving at 59.999mph.
 
This was 01:00am - a time when Leicestershire police will stop any driver on 
the suspicion of having dirty wing mirrors.  I didn't dare pull off, pass or 
drop back - I just rolled along behind for almost ten miles.  They were 
obviously bored - they pulled into a layby and I went past, fully expecting to 
be followed and stopped.  Not a bit of it - they just let me go.
 
I'm sure if the driver had felt my lights were too bright, he'd have stopped me 
"for a word".
