91 90 quatrro 20v blower motor

When the blower motor got louder than the radio would play I decided it was
time to replace it.  It was a piece of cake to get out if you follow the
Bentley (remove the housing and then separate the motor/fan assy.).  They
must have redesigned it since the 5000 model. 

The motor doesn’t have an Audi part number on it.  The only markings on it
are VALEO TH FRANCE  12V  11 90.   The motor is held in with a rubber collar
surrounded by a plastic collar that attaches to the housing.  The squirrel
cage is press fit on the shaft. 

Has anyone purchased one of these recently?  Where is the best quality price
tradeoff obtained?  Is this the motor that is $115 at Blaufargnugen?  Do you
just get the motor or do you get the fan, collars and etc.

Also what is that black sealant they use that came off so nicely.  I don’t
think RTV would peel off like that.
