Need Help Confirming Brake Part Numbers
Hi Folks,
After doing some checking I've found that my front brakes on the 90
90Q20v are part number 893 615 301A.
This part number is supposed to correspond to a 256mm rotor as opposed to
the 276mm 893 615 301. My car has the single piston Girling calipers and
came with the 14 inch BBS "lace" wheels.
The rear part number appears to be universal and is 853 615 601.
What I'm wondering is: Is the 301A designation the indicator of 256mm
rotors or is there more to it such as a different offset, etc.
This is also a head's up that the pads will obviously be a different
size as well.
Not all rotors are created equal. Now I just wish I had the 276mm.
Thanks for any and all input!
