speaking ofthe safety of coupe GT's a few years ago my 85 was hit 
directly on the front fender by a Broinco going 40mph. I barely felt a 
thing, i got knocked out of the street aht i was on and into the side 
street.  I opened the door and ran down the street pissed as hell.  The 
coupe is still with me and drives as good as new.  Not one single scratch 
on me at all...i give all the credit to the incredible strength of the Coupe.
