I had a problem with my wipers and windshield freezing up. Couldn't
decide if it was best to keep the heat way up and blasting on the
windshield, or keep it cold, or what. Anyone have any suggestions
on better wiper blades for this car?

Sure it does. Better yet, *it* feels for impending wheel lockup
*for* you. So, you just need to judge how much braking force you
need to apply before ABS kicks in. If you barely hit the pedal and
ABS starts pumping, you know it's time to bail out...

You'd be defeating other things as well. Including, to some
extend, quattro (i.e. the EDL portion of it).
