Dan S-Noise Ratio

Dan, you out there?? 

Is there anything you can do, maybe post a reminder about these
totally irrelevant threads that have been permeating the list in
the last few weeks?  The signal to noise in here is getting
unreasonable.  This isn't the touchy-feely list, nor the
ambulance chaser list, but I wonder some times.  Post-
Quoting lessons seem to have been forgotten also...large
reposts with "I agree with all the above" messages should
be addressed in any reminders you send to the list, and
those who repost the entire digest to the list.

I know you're busy, but so are many of us who don't have time
to read Audi-relevant posts because we have to sift through all
BS.  Many have opted to just unbuscribe, and we're all the
losers for it. Luckily a few of the more knowledgeable V8Q'ers
who have dropped this list for the above reasons still manage
to exchange messages via an email list. Resulting in newbies to
the list with V8Q's not receiving lots of useful posts from
these former Qlisters.

Maybe an occasional repost of the rules of the list might help,
or a quoting of it to those straying too far from the flock.
