First of all, check to see what class it would be in.....actually, I'll
check and see if Ray knows.......Do you have a legal SCCA rollcage in
it?
Fire bottle? Restraint (5 pt) system? Are you willing to bring it home
in pieces? If you can answer yes to all of the above....who gives a
s--t if it's competitive. Unless you have driven a hill or competively
at least, you won't be that competitive your first time there anyway. I
know National Racers who choke up there. It's a unique experience that
you must be totally committed to wanting to experience. Speed comes
with time up there. Seriously. If you really want to try it....do so.
You only have up to go from where you start. If you start out with a
fast car but not a lot of experience in this type of racing, you could
get yourself in trouble. I am a firm believer in knowing yourself as a
driver before the gobs of horsepower. So, what is your racing
experience anyway..? They will ask that.

I like your courage, though.....as an ex-racer, I wouldn't be caught
dead doing that.....I'm just married to the CRAZY one who does it.
