studs are out



The answer was...lots of heat and the Craftsman stud puller, 
number 4458.  This baby goes on your 1/2" rachet and works
great.  Definitely one for the tool box!

As an FYI, you need a *12mm* hex key for the rear calipers
on the 84 4kq, so get that while you're there to save a trip :)

The car now has new brakes all around (I used Girling semi-mets
from Clair, very cost effective solution for now).  
I still have a vibration problem though, and the clunks I fixed
in the subframe bushings seem to be back once in a while.
Sigh.  Will I ever get this car to 100%?
