Agreed to a point ... it is good to keep one's eyes open.  I actually 
found a gas pressurized cylinder that looks pretty close in a machine 
that KLA builds.  I've got it sitting on the shelf at home right now
and since I don't need one I've never taken the time to get a catalog 
from them.  I'll be that if you took a few measurements you might be 
able to come up with a replacement ...

I'll see if I can find the thing tonight and if so I'll post what I find 
from the markings on the cylinder ...
