blown head gasket
Car: 1986 5KCS, KZ engine 110hp engine, auto, 110KM
Story: Make a long story short, radiator end tank busted, and car was
driven a ways, don't know how far.
What I know: replaced radiator. Started up. Immediately steam/white smoke
rose out of radiator expansion tank, I left the radiator cap off. Engine
sounded and ran fine. Lots of smoke in exhaust. Put radiator cap on.
Within a minute, cap is whistling. Few seconds later, engine stops
idling on it's own. Pulled spark plugs. Coolant pooled up in Cyl.
1,3,4.
Cylinder head gasket gone? Any other tests I should do first before I
tear it apart? Anything else I should replace while I have the cylinder
head removed? What are the chances the head's warped?
Finger's crossed
