I presume you have self levelling rear suspension. When you stop the
engine, the rear will gradually settle down (I can't remember how long it is
supposed to take). The excess fluid gets returned to the reservoir. That's
why the reservoir has 4 marks on it. Max and min for unloaded and max and
min for fully loaded.
You might want to replace some one-way check valves if you feel the rear is
deflating too quickly.
Check Bentley or Haynes.
