Fuel Mixture Adjusting

There are only two ways to properly adjust the fule mixture, or more
correctly termed CO% on CIS equipped cars. First, on the underside of the
hood, there is a yellow sticker that gives important unfo regarding tune-up
specs. The one you are looking for is CO%. On normally aspirated 5 cyls. it
is done by hooking up a gas analyzer to the test pipe (before cat) and
dialing in .75% CO% + - .45% The G.A we use also has air/fuel ratio which
makes it nice, but for this purpose, the above numbers will suffice.
Remember, turn (L)eft for (L)ean, (R)ight for (R)ich. The second way, which
I rarely use, is measuring integrator voltage at the diff. press reg. I'm
not even going to get into that one here, but I only use that when all other
measures fail.
