[snip tale of Mechanic woe]

I just wanted to take a second from my late night cramming of Physics, to
thank the many of you who have responded to my questions recently.
Yes.. the Q has three differentials. I have some basis of understanding of how
a differential splits the mechanic energy between the left and right sides
during a turn. Since I won't even pretend to understand *how* Torsen works, I
tend to forget about it. I know what it does.. how it actually does it is a
mystery though. :)

Reminding me about the Torsen diff. though makes me wonder if my mechanic
replaced the oil in the center diff when I had it changed a few months ago.
Hmm..

My first inclination is that the front diff. housing includes the Torsen,
however I really don't know this. Maybe I'll have to crawl under the car during
break and nose around...

Ahh... what a happy thought to take me away from electrical fields and Gauss
with his wee beady eyes! :) BTW if anybody wants to rant to me tonight about
Electrical potential, Capacitance, and all that pertains.. feel free.

Back to the cramming at hand.
