U boat commander update

Pat Martin had a compresion check done that showed really low
compression in all cylinders acording to one mechanic, another mechanic
says that this
motor is hard to check. Opinions and proper procedure for compression
check on a 86 4kq would be appretiated.
Also what is the possible damage to the motor  when it ingests water,
besides head gasket, valves, pistons, rods or rings that we might be
able to check before tear down? (still waiting for the insurance co)
