Jeffrey's question
Good to see you are still alive Mr. AudiDudi:)
A piece of sage advice: Don't get in the habit of trading
appreciating assets for depreciating assets, unless of course you want to:)
I put little faith in the continued appreciation of things like
records, baseball cards, etc. Course, I am not one of them there
audiophiles. My Mickey Mantles, Willie Mays, etc., hit the road when a
friend offered me $7,500 for the lot. Do I miss them? Hell, when I sold
them I barely remembered why I had kept them all those years.
My HO? Dump the record collection except for perhaps the rarest
few and stick the money in your pocket. If you have to stretch to afford
a car you will seldom drive, it ain't worth it.
Just my opinion.
