Rally cars (no real Audi content)

My one compatriot is building a Saab 99 rally car. So far we have the 
car, brakes, drivetrain, computer, tires, roll cage materials, and 
probably the seats, and haven't spent a dime!  The car and related parts 
are coming from an independent garage (free for his name on the car), the 
tires are slightly used ones gleaned from one of the FIA licensed teams, 
etc.  It's truly not what, but WHOM, you know. Now, at this stage, the 
car (and we) are not likely going to be competitive, but at least we'll 
be out there, gaining valuable experience at dodging trees before we 
invest real money. So it IS possible to race on a low budget, if you can 
get the right connections. It wasn't that hard...all we had to do was be 
nice to people ;)
