Squeezin HP outta of a V6?

I have asked myself this same question.  I have a 95 Sport quattro with the
same problem - lacks horsepower.  

A while back I spoke with my dealership (Schaumburg Audi, Illinois) about
this.  They informed me there is a company in Texas who had a 1996 A4 with
an experimental bolt-on  supercharger.  They claim an additional 90 horses
totaling 260 hp in the V6.  Sounds good huh.  However, it came with a price
tag of around 4000 dollars.  

Schaumburg Audi did have a similar 95 Sport quattro with a pair of "High
lift" cams.  The car was also chipped and had the throttle body modified
with a K&N filter. They might have had a few other things going on with it.
  I think the car had around 210 hp.  I was lucky to take it for a test
drive  and was impressed with its pull all the way up to almost redline. 
The car did feel nice to drive although I wonder what the gas mileage was
like.  

Let me know if you hear of any Ideas for the V6's.  I am a new
quattro-digest subcriber.
