... seems to me this argument screams for the rotaty solution.  One of the 
main issues with the Audi longitudinal layout is the fact that essentially 
all of the engine sits in front of the front wheels ... leading to a ser-
ious forward weight bias.  Putting a lighter pump up front should do wonders 
for the balance of the car.  So now, who's gonna sign up to bolt that W12 up 
to the bellhousing on the tranny?  ;-)

Let's say that someone wanted to learn more about the effects this would 
have on the car and how the suspension should be adapted ... does anyone 
have any _current_ reference material on suspensions?  All this talk about 
coil-overs being passe and Ti springs has got me to wonderin' ...  TIA!

OBTW - apologies to all for the misinformation about the 20V cat.  I 
assumed that the same style cat would be used on all cars for a given 
year.  I wish I could know all the Audis to that level of detail ... I 
certainly am familiar with the QTC and the 5k!
