RE: WOT Switch
If you buy a UR-q or 5kt full throttle switch they are about 1/2 the price.
You have to perform a little surgery on the wiring but this is a less
expensive alternative.

My wide-open-throttle switch on my 1988 90q reads 30 ohms when
actuated (should be near zero). This switch appears to be assembled
in a way that precludes contact repair. It also is part of an
assembly that includes the idle switch and a connector, list price
about $120 US. Replacing the assembly appears to be time consuming as
the idle switch is under the throttle body and difficult to access
without removing a lot of "stuff" (technical term).
Anyone out there ever repaired the WOT switch, preferably in situ?
Anyone out there have a spare functioning switch, new or used, that I
could purchase and splice into the switch assembly harness?
Anyone out there able to suggest which Audi models use this same
design switch?
