Re: Swarfega

Phil Payne,
Boy, the "S" word took me back years.......I even remember the smell!!!
I must have used enough of that stuff to clean the Queen Mary. I am
originally from Barking, Essex and now live in Wheaton, Illinois.

For all the Yanks out here Swarfega is the ultimate hand (and generally
major appendage) cleaning gunge! So far the only thing I've done to our
(my wife's) A4q 2.8 Slusher in 6 months is change the oil and filter at
1k miles and treat all the synthetic/plastic/rubber sealing and moving
pieces parts to a good Armoralling. I DO HOPE that I don't need a
plethora of Swarfega after I finally convinced my American wife that
Audi's really are a darn good and safe car and will last for years ;-)
She remembered the infamous 60 minutes hatchet job but, fortunately for
her, she is married to a "gear head" and I sold her on the Audi. After
she fell in love with it first (thank the Lord!)

This is our first Audi.......all the others have been Japanese!
