Audi #3 in JD Powers Survey!

I noticed in this morning's paper that Audi shot from "below average" (out of
the top 12) to #3 in JD Power's Customer Satisfaction Survey for cars owned 4
or 5 years. The model year was 1992, and the model was the 100 series. While
I don't put much more stake in these surveys than Consumer Reports or The Car
Book as they all treat automobiles as appliances...I feel that Audi deserves
kudos for this rise in percepted quality!!! As an aside, I noted in this
article that light trucks and SUV's all score below average and with Audi's
marketing people trying to get part of the SUV market with the A6qwagon that
this could be an added marketing hook for them (will they use it??? probably
not-but perhaps they should!). Anyway...congrats to our favorite four ringed
marque!!!
