You mean Cowl induction.  The Dodge intercooled turbos for the GLH most
effective hood design was this method (thanks to chrysler air tunnel).  Found
out that in order for a hood "scoop" to be effective the inlet had to be 3.5
inches above the hood.  Yea right.  Did the cowl induction, and found great
airflow characteristics, although cold days and slow driving got you a lot of
"fog" on the windshield.

Not convinced that the cowl would be real effective on the audis.  The
sharper the rake the closer the cowl has to be to the windshield.
