Batteries for Audi

I bought a new battery last night at Wal-MArt, Group 41 cost $50.
They had two name brand batteries, but in this size there was only one
name...EVERSTART.

The fine print says >Distributed< by AC/Delco, >Manufactured< by Johnson
Controls.
It would appear this is the one to get...same maker as Interstate and former
maker of DieHard.  
Also, based on the attached note from Mr. Broder, maybe the current maker of
DieHard Gold.

BTW, my old Exide 75 month battery croaked after 52 months.

I've seen in the archives that people used to like Diehards, but not
anymore.  The car_battery_faq on the net indicates that Interstate,
Eveready, and the older Diehards are made by Johnson Controls Inc,
while the new Diehards Gold are made by AC Delco, and non-golds by
Exide.
