So then it sounds to me like you have sufficient intake and the problem lies
in getting the air outta the engine, aided by bigger valves, more lift/longer
duration on the exhaust timing, less restictive exhaust system, port and
polish, etc.

Messing with the airbox and horn is really a no gainer, even in the turbo
cars, btdt. Remember, scooped air isn't constricted mathmatically as
"ducting" is.>>>
