Re: Airbox Modification

O.K., the general consensus is that airbox mods are not worth the time
or expense and may even hurt the top end performance.

What about throttle body modifications? Someone posted a claim that it
improved air flow by 6%. How does this translate into performance gain?

What exactly is the "throttle body?" I am presuming it is fuel injection
equivalent to the intake manifold? Are the audis really that short of
breath?

I have a 2.8V6 ('94 90csq) that I wouldn't mind spending up to $400 for
to get some extra kick (especially in the low end). Been considering
the Schaumberg "throttle body" modification offer. Any experience on
the list?
