A day with a car
OK. Got the sediment trap fitted. But it's either sucking in air or
cavitating - has anyone else got a sediment trap on a car sucking as much fuel
(ca. 1.8l/min) as an MB ur-quattro?
I found a number of other problems, mostly in the hosing. The lower air
chamber of the wastegate is connected to the inlet manifold by an industrial
piece of tubing, but the hose clip was the wrong size leading to a fair leak.
One of the hose clips on the breathers was quietly wearing a hole in the
distributor.
I'm still unclear as to how the MB's WOT enrichment works, or is supposed to
work. I just wish there were some documentation.
How many other Audi I5 implementations use _no_ vacuum connection to the
control pressure regulator (a.k.a. warm-up valve)?
