The S4 prices I keep seeing on the list are pretty steep, with even
early ones going for US$30K+ (this is one of the more reasonable ones, I
think). On the other hand, here in Ontario they seem to be much more
reasonable. I was reading the Toronto Auto Trader on the weekend,
trying to come up with a selling price for my Passat VR6, and came
across close to ten S4s and S6s.

Agincourt Autohaus (416-291-6456) alone has *four* in stock! Take a
look:
- 1995 S6 quattro (1 owner, blue/gray leather) C$47K/US$33.5K
- 1995 S6 quattro (1 owner, black, "like new") C$47K/US$33.5K
- 1994 S4 quattro (green/black leather) C$37K/US$26K
- 1994 S4 quattro (44,000 km/27,000 miles) C$37K/US$26K

It is, in fact, feasible to import these into the US, as they do meet
the EPA/DOT standards, but I don't know what the exact duty and sales
tax implications are.
