This weekend I had the 45 min. pleassure of changing the air filter on
my 4kq and was able to take a gook look at the induction system on the
car.  I turns out that the intake doesn't really go to the right fender,
but ends in a "scoop" directly behind the side marker light.  It would
seem that Audi didn't do such a lousy job on that airbox after all...

Now, for those looking for a "ram air" effect, wouldn't it be easier to
remove that side marker light and let the scoop have a direct shot at
the incoming air?
