Interesting question. My answers in order of importance...
1. I would prefer Audi stay in business. The dealer may be expensive but
it the only source for certain parts.
2. I don't drive an Audi to be exclusive. I drive it because it is durable
, safe, and fun. The more they sell, the safer we'll all be, and the more
readily available those parts will be.
3. I would also prefer that the manufacturer of my car doesn't produce too
many embarrassments, fist fights, etc. for me. I can do that well enough on
my own. It was only recently I learned the proper response to cocktail
party know-it-alls ragging on unintended acceleration - just warn them to
stay out of the way!
So their advertising, brochure material, and general commercial success is
of concern. Even though I still ignore most of the threads relating to it!
