RE: Airbox Modifications
After all this talk of improving and tweaking intake paths and such, I
thought I'd chime in on one more point. Now I don't claim to be
knowledgable about all audi intake systems to be sure. But I was very
pleased with the layout of the Quantum Syncro intake. The intake is just
behind the right side headlight and is enclosed in a _sealed_ box. What
I mean by this is that the _only_ air it gets is from the front of the
car, where it actually will get a ram air effect. In addition, it will
never have to breathe heated engine air like my poor 914 does. So my
question is, "why aren't all cars built this way?".
