It should be OK to do that with most of the hoses, but the high pressure
hose from the pump to the rack has a restrictor in it. That is why there
is a crimp fitting where the wire bracket supports the hose. I don't know
why the restrictor is there, but there must be a reason. BTW, NAPA has that
hose for under $30.00. I bought one from them, and the quality looked as
good as the Audi part.
