There are a couple things to consider when doing your own brakes. It isnt 
magic, thats for sure. As far as cadmium plating?? Ive heard things for 
and against it, I personally wouldnt waste the money.
You have to be REAL careful of not knicking the webbing. If you do, throw 
it away. Get a good design so that one hole doesnt overlap another hole 
in rotation. Then you get wear spots in the pads and rotors.  Im not good 
at explaining things, but hopefully you get the idea. If you need designs 
for a specific rotor, let me know, Ill ship it to you..I use AutoCAD, can 
you read that format? Let me know if you need a hand.
