D60A2

I am running the D60A2's on my 280ZXT and they are serving very well.
Their dry traction is excellent and wet traction is also quite good.
Breakaway is predictable and manageable. Tire wear is in line with
the tire's price, which is to say, not all that long. But if you are
going to drive in auto-x's or bend every corner, your tires aren't
going to go 40K miles anyway.

I have run two sets of Dunlops on the Z, which is *very* sensitive to
tire imbalance. The first set never was balanced quite as well as I
would like, despite a number of attempts. With the current set
(purchased at Discount Tire) I had them balanced, then re-balanced,
then RE-balanced, all in a three-hour period. The secret revealed in
this case was:

Discount uses a standard balanced which spins the tire and wheel
assy. off the car. They normally set the balance tolerance to about
1/2 ounce which is OK for pickup tires and old ladies who drive K-
cars at 50 mph, but NOT for performance types. The manager balanced
my tires with the machine tolerance set at 1/10 ounce, and the
resulting balance was excellent. It took twice as long, but it did
the trick.

IMO, the Dunlops are good tires, but require more work to balance
properly than some other makes.
