Audinauts-
Just wanted to pass on the joy of completing another task on the 5000. This
one was the delightful "it's time to fix the sunroof" job. Really not all
that bad as long as you follow the Bentley, work carefully and take your time.

Unfortunately, I didn't do any of those things. In fact, I ended up sleeping
in the car last night because by the time I got everything more or less sorted
out, I was too tired to drive home. The worst part was I managed to break the
brand new guide rail just purchased that morning, and boy, those things ain't
cheap. The sunroof wasn't properly rigged while I was exercising it and it
snapped off the little tiny eensy weensy plastic guide that drags the corner
of the roof panel down. Expletives deleted.

The shop is actually my buddy's garage, so when he came out this morning and
saw me crashed out in the driver's seat, he figured something bad had
happened. Maybe some vital organ was caught between the headliner and the
roof. However, that didn't prevent him from banging on the windows and
cranking the stereo full blast to just to see what would happen when he jolted
me from my "Audimare".

Just to show you all my buddy (Mark is his name) is an an extra cool guy, when
I told him I busted my new guide rail, he said "no problem, just to get you
out of my garage, I'll buy you another one". And he did!!! I have it in my
hot little hands right now. All I have to do is install it, clean the
headliner and I'm back in business.

So, any suggestions on headliner cleaner. Mine is filthy, really needs a
bath. Once I get this little task done I'll be that much closer to my
UltraAudi.
