I would look at the sub frame itself. The subframe could have been shifted
in the impact against the granite curb. Have the body shop check the
geometery of the front end suspension and the innner sheetmetal
fenders.Also, with a impact that was strong enough to damage a ball joint,
check the lower control arm and the strut housing.
When I worked for Audi, I fixed a few curb shot cars that resulted in quite
an expensive parts bill. If there is ANY hesitance on behalf of the
adjuster, remember that suspension & brakes are a MAJOR safety isssue. WHEN
IN DOUBT REPLACE IT.
