Timing Belt; to change or not to change That is ......
On the advice of Phil I had the timing chain on my S4 changed last week at the
60k service and the main dealer agreed it was good practice although in the
Audi guidelines it suggest looking at around 80k.
The cost was nothing compared to a new engine.
BTW on my Landcruiser the Toyota handbook says the timing belt change light
will come on at about 60k miles and the belt should be changed at soon as
possible thereafter. Sure enough at 59900 miles the light came on and I had it
changed. S**t them Japs don't half build em right!
