Allow me to explain/elaborate. (^:

Audi has now decided the word "Quattro" shall mean 4 wheels *ON* the road,
not the previously-understood "AWD."

Not only that, but there only will be one disc per front and rear. Instead
of "inside the wheel" as usual practice of installing disc brakes, the
disc itself is installed at the drive shaft. One brake disc, two wheels.

Thanks to 6th generation ASF, the whole works now only weighs somewhere
around 470Kg. The "acceration figures vary with passengers on board" is
true enough, as the super-frugal engine only puts out about 90bhp -- and
as all of us (power-hungry) now that's simply Not Enough.
