V5: small Audi content

Simple--3 cylinders one bank, 2 the other.
In the early 80s GM was experimenting with a series of modular engines, which
never went into production to my knowledge. They shared the same bore and
stroke. There were an I3, a V4, a V5, and a V6. Advantage: lots of parts
commonality. There were only 2 different cylinder heads, one for 2 cyls, one
for 3.
BTW, I understand that balancing a V5 is no harder than balancing an I5.
