The fuse is combined with other electric items which are working fine so I
assume it isn't the fuse. The connectors for the light seem to be free of
corrosion or dirt. What would cause the blackout?
How about the switch? it's wire could have come off, or it's ground could
be bad or it could be broken apart. It's the same switch as the doors and e
-brake use. Try tracing the 12v to the light, continuity to ground, etc.
with a meter. PS I think the switch closes the circuit to ground, the 12v
is on all the time. but don't quote me on that...
