<All> Leather/Vinyl Care
For some time, I have considered Lexol the best protectant to use
on leather. I just got off the phone with the Lexol company,
asking for help since my local Western Auto carries their leather
care stuff (not cheap, but excellent) but not Vinylex, their vinyl
cleaner/protectant...which I needed.
BTW - based on my experience, don't use Eagle One; its cleaner
strips color out of my Audi's seats...)
They took my direct order for Vinylex. You may want to check
their web site at: http://www.lexol.com for product information.
Phil Meyers, the gent I spoke with, said the product should be well
suited to the problems of Z-car dashes which dry out and crack.
As soon as I have used the product, I will post to both Audi and
Z-car groups advising of apparent results. Recent discussions have
made me reluctant to continue using Mineral Oil or Vaseline;
and Armorall will NEVER touch my dash (I loathe the look and
feel of the stuff).
