Don't worry, this just happened to me, I said "thank god my car is actually
running right for a change..." Well, don't get me wrong the engine still works
wonderfully, it's the transmission that went out.

I remember hearing something about the older Audi's had gas tanks that would
start to rust or paint peel off the inside?? It was a major problem.
