Expect it to last forever..that's the belief I've held and what I
expect out of my entire '86 C-GT. Don't under-estimate the power of
positive thinking! :-)

still running strong! Will let loose tomorrow due to bragging
though. {---X

hope my little stick figure comes out alright and is lined up after I've
sent it.

Hope either a good smooth-shifting driver(that would be me - the one
who beats the s#!t out of his C-GT off the line) can extend that number
or you're misinformed because I'm right at the end of my line....169K
miles!!

Was the replacement genuine Audi? If so and it was not defective, I
find it hard to believe that it's going already AND you have a smooth
technique, although I trust you're probably quite capable. I don't mean
to insult you, but you might want to see if a change in your style is
neccessary, because I perform very demanding shifts very often and am
still on my original clutch ater 169K miles.

I'm hoping I too have to only "preventively" change mine many miles
from now, but after everything I've typed in this post, now I too "fear
retaliation from the Audi Gods..." :-)
