Sorry -- yes, indeed the car I'm planning on buying is a 4000 quattro.  In
response to my post on modifications so far I've been advised to swap the
motor with a 5000 turbo or 16V and take a good driving school.  Follow up
questions: how much dosh can I expect to blow swapping the motor?  Also, I
am quite interested in taking some high performance driving lessons (and
motorcycle racing as well, I've been riding for a while now).  Any good
schools in the north-east?  I'll be located in Binghamton, NY next year.
