I purchased a '92 100S with 48,000 miles on it last September. By the time
December came around I noticed a small oil leak beginning, and this was at
only 55,000 miles. I was told by my dealer it was a head gasket that was
leaking. Has anyone else had a problem with the head gasket with the 2.8 V6?
If you did have any head gasket problems, what did it cost to repair.

One last question. My dealer tells me that my transmission fluid needs to be
checked periodically. One problem: there is no dipstick for transmission
fluid, only an Audi cap over the opening. No one will check the fluid. Should
I be worried about checking the fluid?
