Q-list decal inquiries
I posted an inquiry to the Miata.net list concerning their list decal and
here's what I've received so far:
"It is really easy:
1. Create a design in Illustrator.
2. Save Illustrator EPS to floppy.
3. Take to local sign maker (most have cutting systems that take
illustrator files).
4. Ask for either 3M head vinyl, sticky stuff, or static stuff.
5. Choose a color."
"They come in different colours, to match the different Miata colours. The
developer and marketer is our Listadmin, Keith Tanner, from Ottawa and
Toronto, Canada. His email address is keith@miata.net."
I've emailed Keith Tanner, but I haven't heard back yet. The first response
leads me to believe that this is not such an involved process. I do not
have access to an Illustrator package, but my guess is that one of you do.
I guess at this point we're back to Darin's point that this was brought up
once and a consensus on decal design was never reached. Should we try
again? I for one vote, yes, but I'm probably still considered a newbie,
with all the puppy-like Audi enthusiasm, by most of you.
As long as I'm going on about this, I'm REALLY jealous of all the Miata
aftermarket accessories that can be had through all manner of dedicated
vendors. There, I got that off my chest and now I feel better. If anyone's
interested in what I'm talking (writing) about, check out
