I believe that I have the same problem and it has been driving me nuts for
months!! Every time I hit the brakes hard a klunk is heard on the left front.
Same goes when I have the wheels turned and I hit a bump (like entering a
driveway). I could not find anything out of sorts with the bushings etc. so
your fix sounds like it may be my solution. I'll let you know!!!
