clutch master hassles

Check that the clutch pedal's travel is stopped by the piston reaching the end 
of the master cylinder.  The actuator rod has a screw adjustment - this _HAS_ 
to be right or bleeding will leave an air pocket producing the symptoms you 
describe.  Check where the clutch pedal stops, and move the adjusting screw 
until this position _just_ changes.  Then re-bleed.
